Steve Torode

Steve Torode is a Paramedic Station Officer and Team Leader at Ambulance and Rescue Guernsey. He joined the service around 2002 as a maintenance man and engineer on the Flying Christine marine ambulance, trained as an EMT then paramedic (qualified 2009), and was promoted to team leader in 2022. He was nominated for the Pride of Guernsey Emergency Hero of the Year award in 2023 and was featured in the international #ProudToBeAParamedic campaign on the first International Paramedics Day in 2022. He was the first to volunteer for Flying Christine marine ambulance shouts to other Bailiwick islands. — about this text
