Alderney Harbour Office manages Braye Harbour, the island's only official port of entry, on behalf of the States of Alderney. It oversees commercial freight operations, visitor yacht moorings (70 buoys and anchorage sheltered by a 1,430m Victorian breakwater), fishing fleet berthing, pilotage for vessels over 60 GRT, and 24-hour search and rescue. Facilities include fuel, water, showers, laundry, engineering, chandlery, and a tourist information room.
