Founded in the late 1960s by Geoff Willson Senior and Junior, originally in New Forest, England. Guernsey boatyard established 1976. Built GRP trawlers in the 1970s, maxi yachts in the 1980s, then focused on luxury motor yachts. Boat building wound down in 2018 and most moulds broken up.
Aquastar Ltd is a St Sampson yacht builder and marine services company founded in 1969 by Geoff Willson Senior and Junior, originally in the New Forest. The Guernsey boatyard at Ocean Yard was established in 1976, building semi-displacement GRP motor yachts from 19ft to 85ft, including the Aquastar 430, 49, 57, 74, 80, and 85 series. The Aquastar 74 won Motor Boat of the Year 2001; the 430 was an MBY finalist in 2014. Boat building wound down in 2018. The company now offers yacht brokerage, boat refit and repair, and motor yacht sales. —
