Children in Care Team is a States of Guernsey government service within Children & Family Community Services, providing social care support to children in care from birth to 18 years, and to young people leaving care up to age 21 (or 24 in full-time education). Staffed by Social Workers, Social Work Assistants, and a Community Clinical Psychologist, the team delivers care planning, placement reviews, life story work, family contact facilitation, adoption proceedings, and support for care leavers with accommodation and employment. Governed under the Children (Guernsey and Alderney) Law, 2008. —
