The Financial Intelligence Unit is a statutory authority under Part III of the Economic and Financial Crime Bureau and Financial Intelligence Unit (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2022. It is operationally independent and autonomous in carrying out its core functions, which include gathering, analysing, and disseminating intelligence on criminal conduct such as money laundering, terrorist financing, and proliferation financing.
