Guernsey Building Trades Employers Association (GBTEA) is a non-profit trade association representing the building and construction sector, founded on 2 April 1918 by 46 Master Builders. With over 120 member companies — spanning builders, contractors, electricians, plumbers, and decorators — it provides industry representation, government liaison, apprenticeship awards, and operates the Passport to Safety health and safety certification scheme.
