Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC) is the Bailiwick of Guernsey's independent statutory financial regulator, established in 1987 under The Financial Services Commission (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 1987. It licenses and supervises over 2,000 firms across banking, insurance, investment, fiduciary, lending, pensions, and prescribed businesses. Funded entirely by licensee fees and accountable to the States of Guernsey, the GFSC applies a risk-based approach to supervision across the Bailiwick. —
