Guernsey Kidney Service provides advanced kidney care, including preparation for dialysis, transplantation and supportive care. The service offers assessment of newly referred people with kidney disease and care for people with long-term (chronic) kidney disease. It also includes assessment of potential kidney donors and recipients for transplant, and long-term follow-up after kidney transplant. Appointments may be face-to-face, by telephone or by video, and initial appointments last around 40 minutes. —
