Guernsey Voluntary Service (GVS) is a registered Guernsey charity (CH070) founded in 1949 as the Women's Voluntary Service and rebranded in 2011. Operating from Jubilee House in St Sampson, it serves older and vulnerable islanders through Meals on Wheels (approximately 25,000 meals per year), two social clubs (Jubilee and Russels), bathing services, a blood donor calling service, and a trolley shop. Around 500 volunteers support 14 part-time paid staff. GVS received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Groups in 2020. —
