Following the loss of L'Esprit de Serk in December 2003, Te Aroha took over the provision of the summer twice-weekly service from Sark to Herm

Ray Lowe, Motor Boat Charter operates Te Aroha, a 38-foot Cygnus Cyfish motor vessel built in Penryn in 1998. Powered by twin Cummins 6BTA diesels reaching 20 knots, she carries up to 12 passengers and holds MCA certification for up to 60 miles offshore. Based in Sark with over 40 years experience, services include private Channel Islands transfers, Condor connection runs for Guernsey–Sark passengers, UK and French coast charters, and a summer twice-weekly Sark–Herm run.
