Sam first encountered Bowen Therapy while working in a healing centre in Darwin, Northern Australia in the early 1990s; began formal Bowen training in 2007 and completed the European College of Bowen Studies in 2008; has been a holistic therapist since 1991 starting with reflexology

Began career in reflexology in 1991 after seeing an advert in the Guernsey Press. Spent time training and working in Darwin, Northern Australia in the mid-1990s where she first encountered Bowen Therapy. Returned to Guernsey and built a practice specialising in Bowen Therapy and Lymphatic Drainage. In 2025, after personal health challenges, pivoted to breathwork following 400 hours of intensive training with The Alchemy of Breath, graduating in Tuscany.
