Story
Previously combined as Alderney Fire, Ambulance and Rescue Service. From April 2023, the ambulance component was separated and is now operated by St John Ambulance and Rescue Services, Guernsey.
Alderney Fire Brigade is a volunteer fire and rescue service on the island of Alderney, managed by the States of Alderney since 2021. Staffed by 12 on-call volunteer firefighters, it provides fire response, rescue, and rope rescue, operating three TRV appliances and an L4P. The brigade was previously part of the combined Alderney Fire, Ambulance and Rescue Service; the ambulance function was separated in April 2023 and is now operated by St John Ambulance and Rescue Services, Guernsey. —
