Guernsey Chamber Choir

Founded 1982 by Alan Gough. Performed at St Paul's Cathedral London in 2017. Regularly invited to perform at the annual St Malo Sacred Musical Festival where their concert is always sold out. Has provided training places to local students, many of whom now have professional music careers.

The Guernsey Chamber Choir is an invitation choir that brings together singers from across the Bailiwick of Guernsey to perform challenging choral works. It first performed in 1982 and has continued to develop under the direction of its conductors. The choir comprises local professional and trained amateur musicians, with Helen Grand as its current conductor and musical director since 2006. — about this text
