Guernsey Welsh Male Voice Choir

Story

Founded in 2003 as 'Welsh Boys Aloud' by Welsh expatriates from the Guernsey Rugby Club who wanted to bring the unique sound of a Welsh male voice choir to the island. Renamed to Guernsey Welsh Male Voice Choir in 2014.

Guernsey Welsh Male Voice Choir is a community choir founded in 2003 as Welsh Boys Aloud by Welsh expatriates from the Guernsey Rugby Club, and renamed in 2014. With around 36 members open to Welsh and non-Welsh singers, the choir performs concerts, private events, weddings, corporate functions, and charity fundraisers. Notable performances include the 2022 Wales v England Six Nations match at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. The choir is an associate member of the Welsh Association of Male Choirs and nominates a local charity each year to support through gala concert fundraising.
