Story

Cricket played in Guernsey since at least 1866. Guernsey Cricket Association (GCA) formed 1927. GCB established c.2005 to manage ICC membership process. Annual Inter-Insular match against Jersey since 1950.

Guernsey Cricket Board is the governing body for all cricket in the Bailiwick of Guernsey and an ICC Associate Member since 2008. Established in 2005 as a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, it oversees 28 weeknight and 12 weekend teams across multiple venues, runs programmes including Future Stars, Women's and Girls cricket, and a Schools Participation Programme, and competes in ICC World Cricket League and European tournaments.
