Stadium built 1984 on site of old warehouse and concrete works. Initially 4 rinks laid by members. 1988: expanded to 6 rinks with first floor viewing gallery and bowls shop. 1989: rinks re-laid with new floor and building totally refurbished.

Guernsey Indoor Bowling Association (GIBA) is the governing body for indoor bowls in Guernsey, operating a six-rink international-standard stadium at Hougue Du Pommier in the Vale. Founded in 1984 as a volunteer-run company limited by guarantee (charity AGC 423), it runs domestic leagues, knockout competitions, international qualifying events, and junior coaching. GIBA is affiliated with World Bowls and the British Isles Indoor Bowls Council, and has produced national and world champions. —
