John Wesley proposed a mission to Sark in 1787. Jean de Quetteville began preaching c.1789 and dedicated the original chapel at La Ville Roussel in 1797. The chapel was later dismantled and relocated stone-by-stone to Rue du Sermon. The current Wesleyan Chapel was commissioned in April 1926. (inferred from the source page)
