Story

One of Guernsey's 10 Ancient Parish Churches. Built into a hillside at the bottom of a small valley, with a sloping aisle of nearly 2 metres between entrance and altar. Main entrance faces north, which is unusual for churches. Has the largest peal of bells in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Rose Window installed in 2010. Features a stained glass window of St Peter wearing a Guernsey.

St Peter's Church is one of Guernsey's ten ancient Anglican parish churches, situated in St Pierre du Bois. Its 16th-century Gothic building is built into a hillside, featuring a sloping aisle, a square tower housing 13 bells (the largest peal in the Bailiwick), and notable stained glass including a Rose Window (2010). The church offers a full programme of Sunday worship, midweek Eucharist, choir, bell ringing, youth group, community lunches, and annual events including a Summer Fete and Christmas Market. —
