St. Stephen's Church is an Anglican parish church, registered as a domestic charity (CH93) since 2008. Fr Joe Thompson is the Vicar. Opened for worship in 1865 and consecrated in 1866, it became a parish church in 1884. The church offers regular services, including Morning Prayer and Masses, and provides occasional offices such as baptism, marriage, and funerals. Designed by George Frederick Bodley in Early English Gothic Revival style, it features local pink and blue granite, Caen stone, and stained glass by William Morris. —
