Launched in 1976; 2026 marks the 50th anniversary. In 2020, uniquely proceeded with a live audience during the COVID-19 pandemic thanks to Guernsey being COVID-free, featuring an all-local lineup of 3,500 attendees.

Vale Earth Fair is an annual music and arts festival held at Vale Castle in the Vale parish each August Bank Holiday Sunday. Founded in 1976 and organised by the volunteer Vale Earth Fair Collective, it is the Channel Islands' longest-running festival of its kind. The one-day event runs noon to midnight across six stages, featuring local and UK acts, spoken word, a children's area, charity and vendor stalls, and multiple bars. Profits are donated to causes including Burma Campaign UK, The Linda Norgrove Foundation, and Safer LBG Guernsey. —
