Guernsey Conservation Volunteers (GCV) is a registered charity, founded in 1996, that conserves Guernsey's natural environment through hands-on volunteer work parties. The group removes invasive species, manages habitats, and enhances biodiversity across nature reserves and green sites island-wide. Registered with the Association of Guernsey Charities (no. 223), GCV has over 200 active volunteers and partners with La Societe Guernesiaise, the National Trust of Guernsey, Vale Commons Council, and the States of Guernsey. In 2025 it became the first Bailiwick charity to receive the King's Award for Voluntary Service. — about this text
