Guernsey Underground News Service Blue Plaque is a heritage marker at Eleanor House, The Bordage, St Peter Port, unveiled in 2017 by Bailiff Sir Richard Collas. It commemorates GUNS, a clandestine news sheet operation run from The Star newspaper offices during the German Occupation (1942–1944). At its peak, 300 copies were distributed daily. Founder Charles Machon and member Joseph Gillingham died in German captivity. Their story is told in Frank Falla's 1967 memoir The Silent War. —
