Originally incorporated as independent charity in June 1997; operations transferred to Safer LBG in 2014; charity formally terminated via written resolution in March-April 2016. Now operates as a subsidiary of Safer LBG (CH046).
Guernsey Women's Refuge provides crisis accommodation, a 24-hour telephone helpline, and outreach support for women and children fleeing domestic abuse. Established in 1997 and now operated by Safer LBG, the service holds Leading Light accreditation and the Rainbow Mark for LGBTQ+ inclusivity. It is funded through States of Guernsey service level agreements, charitable grants, and donations. —
