Founded February 2012 as a Charitable Trust by Trevor Kelham after losing family and friends to male cancer. Became Guernsey's first registered Foundation in January 2013 (Registration No. 1). Has raised over £1,000,000 against an original target of £250,000.
Male Uprising Guernsey (MUG) is a charitable foundation raising awareness of male cancers — prostate, testicular, bowel, and skin — and supporting affected men and their families across the Bailiwick. Founded in 2012 by Trevor Kelham, it was Guernsey's first registered foundation (No. 1). Through events including Beard Up!, Bermuda Shorts Week, and the OAK Coastal Bike Ride, MUG has raised over £1 million and holds a Guinness World Record. —
