Originally part of Guernsey Grammar School and Sixth Form Centre at Les Varendes since 1985. Dedicated extension built in 2005. Renamed to separate identity (Les Varendes High School and The Sixth Form Centre) in September 2024. Relocated to La Mare de Carteret, Cobo as a standalone specialist centre in September 2025. Planned future move to purpose-built Post-16 campus at Les Ozouets.

The Sixth Form Centre is Guernsey's state-funded post-16 institution in the Castel parish, established in 1985 and operating since September 2025 as a standalone specialist centre. It offers A Levels, the IB Diploma Programme and IB Certificate courses to coeducational cohorts of students aged 16–18 from all Bailiwick secondary schools. Authorised as an IB World School since 2012, it is governed by the States of Guernsey. —
