The Victor Hugo in Guernsey Society is a registered charity (CH507) and cultural society founded in 2015 to celebrate the life and works of Victor Hugo and his family during their 15+ years of exile in Guernsey. Patroned by the Bailiff of Guernsey, it organises talks, conferences, excursions, educational resources, bilingual English and French publications, and an annual Victor Hugo Weekend in June. Motto: EXILIVM VITA EST.
