Sark's heritage and natural history society, founded in 1975 to study and preserve the island's natural environment and cultural heritage.
Ten trusts and societies — five based in St Peter Port. The oldest, the National Trust of Guernsey (1960), is the island's third-largest landowner with 2,000+ members. Two maritime-heritage bodies anchor the group: Trinity House (four Bailiwick lighthouses since 1724) and the Royal Navy association (HMS Charybdis memorial weekends since 1947). —
