Guernsey Customs & Immigration Service (GCIS) is the Bailiwick of Guernsey's official border control agency under the States of Guernsey. Founded in 1975, it was rebranded from Guernsey Border Agency. Its ~90 officers operate across three divisions — Customs & Excise, Border Enforcement, and Immigration & Nationality — with powers of arrest, search, and detention, covering customs enforcement, immigration control, excise and gambling regulation, and passport control. —
