Story

Founded after co-founders Bill Gardner and Tilly Fisken met at Southampton Hospital in 2014 and recognised the lack of local support for macular disease sufferers in Guernsey

Guernsey Macular Society is a local self-help support group for people affected by macular disease and other eye conditions, founded in 2014 by Bill Gardner and Tilly Fisken. The group holds monthly meetings at St Martins Community Centre in St Martin and has around 80 members. It is affiliated with the national Macular Society (UK) and is a member of the Guernsey Disability Alliance.
