Originally founded in 1935 as The Guernsey Society For The Men Of The Trees, rebranded to Guernsey Trees for Life

Guernsey Trees for Life (GTFL) is an unincorporated environmental charity registered as CH301, founded in 1935 and patronised by the Lieutenant-Governor. It plants over 1,000 native and naturalised trees and hedges annually, running rural and urban planting schemes, school visits, tree walks, and environmental education. Principal benefactor is Channel Islands Fuels Limited; membership is open to individuals and families. —
