About
Mannez Bird Hide is a free, open-access bird hide within Alderney's Longis Nature Reserve, overlooking Mannez Pond. Managed by the Alderney Wildlife Trust, it offers views of wetland birds including kingfisher, water rail, firecrest and seasonal migrants, alongside nine resident dragonfly species, frogs and newts. Dogs are welcome under control. The hide is fully wheelchair accessible, with widened paths and lowered windows, and is open year-round. —
