Pick It Up Guernsey began as a grassroots litter-picking campaign by Andrew Munro; its success led to the formal establishment of The Clean Earth Trust in 2018
Pick It Up Guernsey is a nature conservation group. (inferred from the source page) Its success led to the formal establishment of The Clean Earth Trust in 2018, with the stated aim of limiting human impact on the environment. The original intention was to tackle the marine litter problem on Guernsey's shores, arranging beach clean events for the community and corporate entities. These aims have broadened to include working towards reducing the impact of consumerism on the environment through initiatives like the Repair Café. —
