Torteval is Guernsey's smallest parish, covering 3.1 km² in the rural south-west, administered by the Torteval Douzaine. The Douzaine's responsibilities include parish rates, refuse and recycling, cemetery management, dog licences, stream and hedge maintenance, boat moorings, and planning (bornement).
