Founded in 1948 by Philip Perrée, who converted a tumbledown 16th-century farmhouse into a three-room hotel. Now run by his daughter Elizabeth Perrée, who trained at Tante Marie School of Cookery before returning to Sark to expand it to 22 rooms.

Sark·Attraction·Since 1560
Built as a house by Sark's first Seigneur Helier De Carteret in the 1560s on the site of older church buildings and a 12th-century cemetery. Around 1620 his grandson adapted it for cider making with a press and horse-drawn crusher. Later served as armoury and arsenal until Napoleonic times. Victorian alterations included a hay loft and iron crusher. Used as cow stalls until the 1980s. Restored from ruin by La Société Sercquaise from 2013, with grand opening in September 2014.
